Thomas Snyder

Tom is excited to be a member of the Lang Performing Arts Center staff.  He joins us from the thriving Off-Broadway scene of New York where he has worked at such prestigious theatres as Second Stage Theatre, Playwrights Horizons, Manhattan Theatre Club, New York Theatre Workshop, Roundabout Theatre Company, and New World Stages.  Technical Direction, Production Management, and Stage Supervisor credits include Dicapo Opera Theatre, Greenwich Music Festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and Theatre Outlet.  Tom has also had the privilege to build for a variety of scene shops including Hudson Scenic, Brian Coleman Scenic, and Brooklyn Guild.

Tom received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Penn State University.  While at PSU he studied saxophone performance and voice.  Professionally he has acted as music director, vocal coach, saxophonist, and vocalist.
