Lewis Shuster ’77
Lewis Shuster ’77 was appointed an independent director of Cleve Biosciences, a biopharmaceutical company that discovers and develops new therapies for cancer. Shuster is chief executive officer of Shuster Capital, where he advises life-science company executives and investors. For 30 years, he was CEO, CFO, and COO of life-science companies, including Kemia, Invitrogen, Pharmacopeia, and Humane Genome Sciences, and he has been a director of more than a dozen life-science companies. Currently, he serves on the boards of Response Biomedical, MSN Healthcare, Active Motif, HTG Molecular Diagnostics, TissueNetix, and Mast Therapeutics.
