Under Michael Cothren’s guidance, learn about the great works of Byzantine art as part of our small-group adventure.

Join Hansjakob Werlen, alumni, and friends for an amazing program that introduces Italy in a way that few people have experienced it. Stay in a beautiful, historic Italian villa outside Verona and explore the region. Visit Verona’s Roman arena and other ancient sites, and discover Italy’s cultural connection to the Slow Food movement. Create and taste your own gnocchi di pane, brodo di carne, and dolci chocolate salami, among other authentic dishes during the included cooking lessons. Touring centuries-old wineries, tasting rare handmade cheeses, and dining in homes of chefs and producers are just some of the exclusive highlights of this journey.
