Gloria Thomas ’85 — Women’s AdvocateGloria Thomas ’85 was named director of the Carolina Women’s Center at the University of North Carolina, which strives to create an inclusive education and work environment for women through research, outreach, and advocacy. Thomas joins the center from the University of Michigan, where she was director of the Center for the Education of Women. She has a master’s in teaching from Villanova and a Ph.D. in higher education from Michigan.
