Barbara Norfleet ’47, H’14 — Renowned PhotographerDocumentary photographer Barbara Norfleet ’47, H’14 received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, Mass. Norfleet, a senior lecturer emerita at Harvard and former photo curator at the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, built a distinguished career exploring American social history through photography; she is still actively working. Norfleet received a Ph.D. in psychology from Radcliffe-Harvard in 1951.
