Elsa Trimble Hart ’06—Rising StarAuthor Elsa Trimble Hart ’06 made the “2015 Rising Stars” list of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for her debut novel, Jade Dragon Mountain, published Sept. 1, 2015. Born in Rome but raised in Moscow and Prague, Hart credits Agatha Christie as her inspiration for the historical mystery. Hart is a graduate of Washington University law school who began writing the novel while accompanying husband Robbie Hart ’04 on a research trip to China. Her second novel will feature the protagonist from Jade Dragon Mountain, an exiled Chinese librarian.
