Michał Zadara ’99—Prized in PolandPolish President Bronisław Komorowski awarded theater director Michał Zadara ’99 Poland’s Silver Cross For Service July 31 in recognition of his exceptional citizenship and role as a prominent artist and public intellectual. In addition, Zadara was honored in September with the Konrad Swinarski Award for best director of the 2013–14 season in Poland for his production of Friedrich Schiller’s Robbers at the National Theatre in Warsaw. The award is among the highest honors for theater directing in Poland and recognized Zadara’s recent productions on the main stage of the national theater in Warsaw.
