Although a traffic circle plays a key role, the newest College presence in The Ville will be anything but roundabout. The Town Center West building is a 40-room inn at the southern edge of campus by the train station. The inn’s construction began in December and will feature an expanded and reimagined campus bookstore and a full-service restaurant. 

“The Campus and Community Bookstore won’t just be for students but a place for folks getting off the train who want to pick something up on their way home,” says Vice President for Finance and Administration Greg Brown. “It has been very exciting coming up with ideas about how to engage the broader community, since it will be a direct link to the rest of the borough.”

The South Chester Road facility slated for completion by Commencement 2016, will also house a large space for academic conferences or other sizable meetings and will be easily accessed by the new roundabout being built at the intersection of Chester Road and Rutgers Avenue.
