Ivan Sascha Sheehan ’00—Honored ProfessorIvan Sascha Sheehan ’00, an associate professor of public and international affairs at the University of Baltimore (UB), received the 2016 University System of Maryland Board of Regents Award, its highest faculty honor. Sheehan, who specializes in the intersection of global terrorism, counterterrorism, and international conflict management, was recognized for excellence in mentoring. Sheehan received a master’s and a Ph.D. from George Mason University, and joined UB in 2009 from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
