Martha Rice Sanders ’77—Exceptional Librarian Martha Rice Sanders ’77, the knowledge management librarian at the HELIN Library Consortium in Kingston, R.I., was honored at the Innovative Users Group (IUG) conference with its 2014 Beacon Award. IUG, an international organization of libraries that use the Innovative Interfaces Inc. integrated library software, bestows that award “to honor exceptional service through presentations, collaboration, [and] selfless dedication.” The HELIN Library Consortium is a collaboration of 11 academic and 11 special libraries including Brown University and the University of Rhode Island.
