Class Notes SonnetThis year, I’ve written sonnets every day (with one or two exceptions), which I post on Facebook. Many Swatties write to say they like the verses, so I’ve had the most supportive, random contact with a range of Swat alums, including people who had never talked to me. But it’s not strange— it’s natural that our tiny, weirdo school would foster warm connections many years away from camping in Crum Woods, McCabe, the black box, Sharples brunch, the joys and fears of being young. We’re somehow still the same: we seek out one another’s work and art, then offer feedback, using mind and heart.
