Spotlight on … Joshua Sokol ’11
Joshua Sokol ’11, a science writer based in Cambridge, Mass., received the Jonathan Eberhart Planetary Sciences Journalism Award for distinguished popular writing.
Josh was honored for his article “Hidden Depths,” in which he explains how icy worlds far from the sun’s warmth, such as Jupiter’s moon Europa and Saturn’s moon Enceladus, can maintain subsurface oceans. The article appeared in the Aug. 13, 2016, issue of New Scientist.
