Carolyn Mitchell ’74—Enriching Young Lives Carolyn Mitchell ’74 joined the board of directors for Jazz House Kids, a nationally recognized arts organization working to enrich young lives through music, education, culture, and community-engagement programs. Mitchell is a managing director and senior compliance officer at TIAA-CREF, where she oversees enterprise-level compliance issues. Mitchell studied music business at the Berklee College of Music. An accomplished songwriter and studio vocalist, Mitchell is also a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers; the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences; and the National Music Publishers Association.
