David G. Bradley '75 H'11
David G. Bradley '75 H'11 is the chairman and owner of Atlantic Media, whose holdings include The Atlantic, Quartz, National Journal Group, and Government Executive Media Group. Earlier in his career, he founded The Advisory Board Company and CEB (now Gartner), both for-profit think tanks that provide strategic research to healthcare organizations, educational institutions, and corporations around the globe.
During his early 20s, Bradley was a Fulbright Scholar in the Philippines. In addition to his B.A. and honorary degree from Swarthmore College, he earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a J.D. from Georgetown University. He is the recipient of a lifetime achievement award from Harvard Business School, as well as honorary degrees from,the Fulbright Association and the American University of Afghanistan. Bradley is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and his board memberships include the Council on Foreign Relations, New America, Biden Cancer Initiative, American University of Beirut, and the Manila-based Child Protection Network. He and his wife, Katherine, have three sons and are based in Washington, D.C.
