In November 2017, a team of Swarthmore CS students placed first out of 24 teams in a programming contest at Wilkes University. The competition was part of the Mid-Atlantic Regional for the International Collegiate Programming Contest. Juniors Kei Imada, Hunter Huges, and Berlin Chen were the only team at the site to solve three problems within five hours. Other Swarthmore teams finished fourth and fifteenth.
