According the Career Services Office’s 2009–2010 annual report, a national survey of graduating seniors reported that just 24 percent have secured employment. Swarthmore seniors fared better than the national average, with 34 percent of the class reporting that they had secured employment by graduation. (Of course, not everyone wants a job right out of college.)
