Swarthmore College President Rebecca Chopp meets alumni, parents, and friends on the first stop of her Listening Tour that was held on the campus.

It seemed appropriate that President Rebecca Chopp (watch: first listening tour event) should host the first event of her Listening Tour series right here on campus on Sept. 16. The event began with alumni, parents, and friends mingling to chat informally with the president over delicious snacks in the foyer of the Lang Performing Arts Center. Later, the gathering moved to the Pearson-Hall Theatre, where the president spoke briefly to a large audience about her own impressions of Swarthmore and then answered a variety of questions.
