Vaccine Information for Students
All students are required to demonstrate proof of vaccination with an FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccine, among the various vaccinations Swarthmore students must receive as a condition of enrollment.
Approved COVID-19 Vaccines
Consistent with CDC guidelines, the College will accept vaccination with the following FDA approved or World Health Organization (WHO) recognized COVID-19 vaccines: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca-CoviShield, Sinopharm-VeroCell, and Sinovac-Coronavac.
Medical or Religious Exemptions
If you are not able to receive the vaccine due to a medical or religious exemption, please complete this waiver form [PDF] and upload it to your student health portal.

Vaccine Information for Faculty and Staff
Faculty and Staff members are strongly encouraged to stay up to date on their COVID-19 vaccinations.
Masking
Masks are optional in all indoor campus spaces, including classroom settings. We recognize that individuals have varying levels of comfort when it comes to masking, and we urge all members of our community to respect the individual choices of your friends, peers, and colleagues. Individuals recovering from COVID-19 may need be required to mask depending on your specific circumstances.
