As a 2007 Watson Fellow, Dan Hammer '07, an Honors economics major from Chevy Chase, Md., plans to build and race outrigger canoes in the Marshall Islands, Palau, and Tahiti. Hoping to later pursue a Ph.D. in economics, Dan describes himself as "some sort of academic-paddler hybrid."
