Engineering a Diverse Workforce for the 2020s: Vision through Implementation
General Information
The Mid-Atlantic Section of the ASEE invites submissions of papers and posters for the fall 2014 conference. Topics related to Engineering and Engineering Technology may include, but are not limited, to the following.
- Diversity: Recruitment, Retention, and Success
- Educational Research on Teaching and Learning
- Innovative Pedagogical Techniques, Software, and Materials
- Curriculum Development at PreK-12, Pre-College, Undergraduate, and Graduate Levels
- Pedagogical Laboratory Exercises, Experiments, and Research Projects
- Disciplinary, Inter-Disciplinary, and Multi-Disciplinary Work
- Partnerships and Collaborations: Industries, Government, Universities/Colleges/High Schools
- Workplace Experiences: Internships and Coops through Permanent Positions
- Entrepreneurship
- Engineering Management, Economics, and Ethics
- Assessment and Accreditation
Full length papers are typically at most 6 pages long; please contact one of the conference organizers for submission of papers that exceed 8 pages in length.
Student poster submissions are strongly encouraged.
Information for Authors
Abstracts should be between one paragraph and one page in length.
