Qualifications:
Applicants should usually be Juniorshave at least a year of Japanese, andhave taken at least one other Japan-related course.
They should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a cumulative average of “B” or above in their Japanese language courses.

Student-managed 30-day forum, held in Japan and the U.S. in alternate years. In summer 2007, the forum will be held in Japan, and participants will travel to Tokyo, Akita, Hiroshima, and Kyoto.
Buddhist Studies program that includes seminars, a study project and the opportunity to live in templs and monostaries and participate in meditative practices.
