German Holiday Dinner
The German section celebrated its annual Christmas/winter dinner on Monday, December 11 in the Friends' Meeting House. Elke Plaxton and students set up and decorated, Hansjakob cooked a three course feast: Pasta with Broccoli Rabe, Polenta with Lamb Stew and Flourless Chocolate Cake with whipped cream for dessert. Marion, Elke, and Sunka waited tables and washed the dishes with the help of students. All in all, about 40 students and guest of honor: Pieter Judson, enjoyed the culinary delights of the evening.
